Do everything you can to create an environment in which the people on your team are inspired to do their best. If you wait until the rest of your company catches up, you'll be waiting a very long time. So, even if your boss, other department heads or the senior team haven't yet adopted these best practices, you can take the lead. There are lots of things you can do that are in your direct control.
