WEEK 6 Session 6: Leadership Presence (3 hours) This session provides participants with the tools and skills they need to strengthen their ability to be successful. Whether this means moving into an executive suite, leading a project team, having more impact in an existing role, or aspiring for a new position, the skills taught in this program can take you where you want to be. Topics: ■ Defining Leadership Presence ■ The Big Three: Gravitas, Communication, and Appearance ■ Understanding Your Current State as a Leader ■ Emotional Intelligence and Savvy Leaders ■ Your Brand as a Leader Key Takeaway: At the end of this session, you will be able to understand who you are, how you should be leading, whom you need to build alli- ances with, and how you need to present yourself in order to increase your value to the organization. Take CliftonStrengths® Finder Assessment WEEK 7 Session 7: Linked Development: Applying a Strengths-Based Approach to Career Development (3 hours) Gallup worked with the Corporate Leadership Council to identify key drivers that impact per- formance — the findings indicate that when we focus on strengths, productivity can increase by up to 40%. The approach is based on the assump- tions that each person's talents are enduring and unique, and that each person's greatest room for growth is in the areas of greatest strength. In this session, you'll uncover your innate strengths and learn how to use them to develop your career to reach your full potential. Topics: ■ Career Development ■ Strengths and Weaknesses ■ Talents, Investment, Strengths, and Weak - nesses ■ Your Values and Talents ■ Leveraging Your Talent to Build Your Strengths ■ 3E Development Resources ■ Development Planning Key Takeaway: At the end of this session, you will be able to follow a step-by-step approach to creating a development plan that aligns your strengths with your organization's priorities and needed skillsets. Bridge Learning Assignment WEEK 8 Capstone Event The program will conclude with a capstone event where participants will provide solutions on how to be a successful women leader at Lumentum. Program Conclusion The program concludes with a 30 minute 1-1 coaching session. Participants receive targeted feedback and finalize their action plans to suc- cessfully "launch" into the next phase of their careers. Individually, participants will discuss with their managers their key learnings and what opportunities they have to apply their new knowledge into their work.
