What you will learn: • Describe inclusive facilitation skills. • Connect inclusive facilitation techniques with positive meeting outcomes. • Identify challenges unique to facilitating hybrid meetings. • Define best practices for the 4 stages of meeting facilitation. • Apply inclusive facilitation skills to real-life meeting scenarios. Emotional Intelligence: the Bedrock of Inclusion The goal of this course is to enhance your emotional intelligence skills to enable you to better connect and communicate with others, creating the foundation for a sustainable culture of inclusion. What you will learn: • Self-assess proficiency in four domains of emotional intelligence. • "Track" emotions in your mind and body. • Articulate ways to build self-awareness. • Decode emotions in another person. • Describe how activating empathy can lead to an experience of inclusion. Enhancing Leadership Agility Using SLII® In this introduction to SLII®, you'll learn an intuitive, practical leadership framework that matches the developmental level of an employee on a task with the optimal levels of direction and support they need to succeed. W hat you will learn: • Identify over-supervision versus under-supervision and "just right" leadership. • Practice the three skills of SLII: goal setting, diagnosing, and matching. • Rescript leadership style conversations. • Role-play and practice matching your leadership style to different situations and individuals. Exploring Dimensions of Diversity The goal of this session is to broaden your perspective around your and others' experiences of dimensions of diversity, power, and privilege. What you will learn: • Explain the dangers of stereotypes in the workplace. • Recognize how culture and media reinforce unconscious stereotypes. • Identify dimensions of diversity that have shaped your professional opportunities and choices. • Explain the importance of acknowledging and discussing our differences. • Make a personal connection between diversity factors and your relationship to various types of privilege.
