All our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs
are individually tailored to meet your organiza-
tion's specific needs and requirements.
Embracing Diversity Equity and Inclusion
In recent years, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I)
has taken a position front-and-center in many orga-
nizations. As the social justice movement in 2020
galvanized activism and new conversations around
race, privilege, and the critical importance of inclusion,
organizations began to explore their own culture of
inclusion and belonging. This course will enable you to
make DE&I more than just a buzz word — you'll learn
how to embed inclusion into your organization culture
in all facets. The goal of this session is to increase your
ability to shape a workplace culture of inclusion and
belonging, where all employees feel visible and valued.
What you will learn:
• Define key DE&I terminology.
• Recognize the connection between the brain's
hard-wiring and cognitive biases.
• Articulate the impact of bias on non-dominant
groups.
• Identify dimensions of diversity that have impacted
personal opportunities and choices.
• Describe ways that bystanders can take action
in addressing bias.
• Brainstorm inclusive actions an ally could take
in real-life scenarios.
Cultivating and Integrating a Hybrid Team
How do we optimize the benefits of a hybrid model so
our work lives can be more purposeful, productive, and
flexible? How do we anticipate invisible power differ-
entials created by hybrid work arrangements and build
in equitable practices to compensate for them? In this
interactive session, we'll explore hybrid work from a
variety of perspectives, including access to resources,
visibility, proximity, and productivity. We'll look at ways
to define new norms and shift team culture to maximize
engagement and collaboration. We will also identify
concrete actions that managers can take to create an
equitable, inclusive experience.
What you will learn:
• Articulate the pros and cons of hybrid work.
• Identify power differentials introduced by hybrid
work arrangements.
• Reimagine the way teamwork might occur along the
axes of time and place.
• Take action to balance inequities around access to
resources and visibility.
• Define digital communication norms for your team.
• Create a team charter for your hybrid team.
