7 Creating Psychological Safety at Work A work culture of psychological safety fosters true learning, critical thinking, agility, and growth. Candor and creativity are embraced, and mistakes are framed as opportunities to grow. In a psychologically safe environment, employees are encouraged to share their voices and think outside the box, and they feel wel - come to bring their full, authentic selves to work. What does it take to create and sustain psychologi- cal safety at work? What behaviors cultivate mutual respect and trust? What actions and norms erode it? In this session we will explore ways to leverage a coaching mindset to develop, challenge, and support your team.
