Treat everyone as individuals rather than clones of yourself. How you approach work
is not how they may approach it. What motivates you may not motivate them. The
old Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," does not
work. It implies that other people would like to be treated the way you would like to be
treated. A far more effective approach is to follow the Platinum Rule: "Treat people the
way they want to be treated."
